Bangalore double murder case: Two accused arrested
The police have managed to arrest the two accused in the double murder case in the city's Koramangala within 48 hours of the case being reported.
On the night of December 17, the accused, who had strangled security guard Dil Bahadur and house worker Kariappa at the house of contractor Gopal Reddy in Koramangala sixth level, fled with Rs 5 lakh in cash and 100 grams of gold jewellery.
The accused named Jagadish and Sunila have been arrested by the police near Badarahalli. Accused Jagadish was the former car driver of Gopalareddy, the owner of the house. He had taken the expensive car alone for mourning and had an accident. Gopal Reddy slapped Jagadish on the cheek. Since then it is known that Jagadish was angry with Reddy.
After the incident, Gopal Reddy fired Jagadish and appointed someone else. But Jagadish continued to negotiate with Gopalareddy's new driver. He was also in phone contact with Kariappa who was doing housework. Thus, on December 17, when Jagadish called Kariappa, Gopal Reddy said that he had gone to a marriage ceremony in Andhra Pradesh.
Waiting for the right time to take revenge, Jagdish along with his friend Kiran from Laggery and his brother Abhishek came to Gopalreddy's house. Jagdish, who was fully aware of Gopal Reddy's house, had first jumped into the compound behind the house using a stool.
After that, he cut the wires of the CC cameras, suffocated Dil Bahadur who was in the security room, wrapped the tape around my hand and threw it into the sump. Later he called Kiran and Abhishek inside the house compound.
All three of them were waiting at the door of the house for the whole night. On the morning of December 17, Kariappa, a housekeeper, was suffocated and murdered when he opened the house door. Later, they stole the gold ornaments and cash from the house and fled in the car.
